Student Events Happening Week of August 26-30
Monday 8/26
- ELA class drawing character maps of protagonists/antagonists/antihero in literature
- 7th grade has reading buddies with 1st grade
- 7th grade finishing all parts of Glam Trash Project
- No middle school tutoring or clubs
- Start ordering school lunches one day in advance
Tuesday 8/27
- ELA Class Acting out protagonists/antagonists in lit
- 7th must finish Glam Trash entry
- Ms. Amber offering middle school tutoring after school
- Ms. Erika offering her club after school
- Glam Trash event at TISA 9am - families encouraged to attend!
- ELA class creating layered art depicting dual nature of protagonists/antagonists based on point of view
- Running/Walking Club with Ms. Sally/Ms.Keisha today after school (4-5pm)
- Tutoring after school until 5pm with Ms. Erika
Thursday 8/29
- 6th and 8th grades have reading buddies with Kinder and 2nd grade
- STUDENT OF THE MONTH
- Ms. Sally offering tutoring after school
- Breakfast at TISA starts next week - please order in advance
Friday 8/30
- No school for students
- NO SCHOOL next Monday (Labor Day)

- Sept 2 - No school Monday
- Sept 5 - 1:40-4:00 7th walking to Land Trust with Ms. Erika for final STEAM activity associated with project started last spring
- Sept 19th - 7th grade walking to Youth and Family Center to swim ($2)
