THURSDAY PROJECT 4/9/20

GIF to Video: How to Make Videos from Animated GIFsTHURSDAY PROJECT 4/9/20

 Make and send 1-2 videos:

The Taos News and Tempo are asking that you videotape yourself doing what you do; draw a line, spin your wheel, throw paint, blow your horn, strum that guitar or banjo, make your voice or violin sing, slam that poem or read that story in progress. This is open to anyone in Taos County and the Enchanted Circle.
The rules:
  • Videos must  be  no longer than two and a half minutes of yourself in action - original or public domain material.  Upload to YouTube or TikTok.
  • Send the YouTube or TikTok link and an image you'd like us to use  to 505-470-9843 or tempo@taosnews.com or socialmedia@taosnews.com
  • Please put "Taos Tempo Video 2020" in the subject line and a bit about yourself and how the piece you're submitting came about.
  • Up to two submissions per artist.
  • Please put "Taos Tempo Video 2020" in the subject line.
  • Deadline for entries is 4 p.m. Sunday (April 19). We’ll let you know how to vote for your favorites.
We’ll post the videos to our website and YouTube channel and share them with our readers, who’ll be able to vote for their favorites after the contest closes.
After COVID-19 has been brought under control and restrictions on gatherings have been lifted, the Taos News will be co- hosting a community event where some of the favorite artists – chosen by readers and judges – will be invited to perform.
Have fun, stay safe and keep the creative juices flowing

Take care,
